I realized that I've been very restless for the past week. I usually want to finish everything at once and get extremely agitated when I am unable to. I also become disoriented that I mess up some things around but I nothing serious though. I try to relax but I just can't because I feel that I lack time to be able to do all of them.

I'm concerned about this since I feel that it's getting worse.

When I feel like that I write it down on paper (usually a list) and get it "out" of me so my head doesn't have to contain it all. Too, I can cross off things on a list as I do them which is always satisfying. But I have lists of things I don't get to at all (and end up throwing away when I find them weeks or months later :-) or feel I don't have to get to right away now because they're on the list instead of jumping up and down in my head :-)

Thanks. Today, I told myself to do only what was required and not to act on any creative idea unless I've jotted it down somewhere.

Sometimes I get that way with work at school. I make sure to keep my daily planner updated so that I can look at the sheet of paper and see what it is I am supposed to be doing. It helps me to sleep at night because I can assume that if everything is crossed of the planner, then everything is great with the world.

I also try to get more sleep whenever I go through a period of increased anxiety and restlessness. I usually take 6 mg of a sleep aid called Melatonex at night. The sleep that I get while taking that feels more natural than the sleep that I get when I try other over the counter medications, like Simply Sleep.

Hey there, I think might understand how you feel. I have been working on a few projects, plus housework and others and it feels like none of it is getting done, or to my satisfaction. Even when I finish something I feel like I rushed it or it was not quite right. I realize that I have felt this way on and off for ages. People tell me do focus on one thing at a time, but I just don't feel like I can concentrate. Is that similar to how you think?
