I just got back from having a coffee with a friend,
and seeing a movie in a theatre...WITHOUT an Ativan pill. I'm so proud. If I can do this, anyone can. :-D
What was your accomplishment for the day?

That is wonderful Labyssum!

I've been taking a friend to a meeting each week in a part of the City I don't know at all and I researched the area and did some "exploring" before the meeting last night (and took a different route to get there last week). I'm always afraid I'll get lost or go "too far" and not be able to get back, or there will be some obstruction or difficulty I won't be able to handle and with someone else that has to get somewhere the time constraints and all. . .

Well done Labyssum! Accomplishment for the day...

My Accomplishment is that I finally took my puppy out for a walk today at the park for the very first time. My mam and sister came with me but I am on Prozac and not sure if that helped me go out or if it was my normal self.

My puppy looked really funny crawling along the path (belly to the ground) and making her way to try and hide under a car hehe, but I reassured her as best I could and she finally let herself go and enjoyed the walk. I am proud of my puppy, she did well for her first time and also myself, it's been a while and many more hopefully.

Good for you! I remember when things were really bad and nobody seemed to understand what an accomplishment these sorts of things can be. I remember going to a supermarket by myself and pushing the wagon. My parents and boyfriend-at-the-time were so proud of me, but others were like "so what?". Well, I am excited for you!!! No special accomplishments for me today (home sick with stomach issues) but tomorrow I'm taking my mom (who suffers SEVERE anxiety like I used to) to use the ATM for the first time. And once she gets that done, we are moving on to her biggest phobia - gas stations. I'm so proud of her for deciding she's gonna do this!!!

Well done Lab! One step at a time.

I did the same thing. I was taking clonapezam every morning before work, and face my fears/anxiety attack head on and havent taken any since then. (except 30 minutes ago but thats cause I am hungover. Drinking= horrible anxiety the next day and on, so I am done drinking for good from this day onward)

But congrats! Thats the first step!
