I do not know if this is in the right place but I was just curious if any of you have experienced this. Yesterday while I was eating lunch my father came up to me and said "I wish you could put on 20 pounds in time for you interview next week so you looked like a professional woman and not a gauky teenager."
I was completely blown away and I actually got angry (which is rare for me). I have been nervous enough about this interview and then he says that to me..and implies that I probably wont get the job because I do not look like a woman.
He says stuff to me like that all the time. Always on me about what I wear and how I do not look like a woman and how I should be covered up and stop looking like a bum with my rags for clothing. When I was younger he used to go through my room and throw out clothing he did not approve of.
I guess I really do not know what I am looking for by posting this. I guess I am just fed up with it and a little scared. My boyfriend is really pissed at my dad and is getting fed up with how he treats me. He has not said anything yet because I have begged him not to but I think it is only a matter of time before he lets me father have it for the stuff he says.

*big sigh*

You are in this snowglobe. It is encovered in glass and secure. But one day someone comes and shakes the globe and the pieces go flying everywhere. Now they will eventually settle but they won't be the way they were before and they can never be that way again.
