The only medication that helps with my anxiety is Ativan. But I refuse to take it because it makes me gain weight.

Oddly enough when I got on Invega for Schizoaffevtive disorder most of my panic attacks went away even though that wasn't why I was prescribed it. I take klonopin as needed for any leftover panic attacks

Gabapentin—this has been great for me. I’m lucky in that it gives me a little buzz. I’ve read others responding that it doesn’t work. But it does for me.
It is also prescribed for nerve pain, but it isn’t addictive like Vicodin, although I’ve read it can be abused for the buzz. Last edited by Anonymous45390; Dec 03, 2017 at 04:25 AM. |

Just started Opipramol for anxiety. it's a type of TCA antidepressant, but its mechanism of action is totally different. it's european so it might sound unfamiliar to you. Supposed to start working with in 2 weeks. will post the results as time unfolds.

I really would like to hear about how Opi is working out for u. I used it a while ago for my depressive episodes. Im super interested how it affects anxiety bc my anxiety levels are going beyond any scale atm.
