My anxiety has been so bad these pasts few days that it's hard to get to class. It's enough of a struggle just waking up, eating breakfast, etc (I have depression too) and add getting to class on top of that and it just feels like I can't do it. But I need to be there for an important assignment this week. What do you do when you are freaking out about doing something and just feel like you can't but know you have to?

Anxiety has always been a problem for me. So I've had many experiences such as this over the years, related both to school & work. In my case, I always just forced myself to do what I had to do. I can't say it was always a great success. Sometimes it worked out okay. Sometimes it was something just short of abysmal. But I never felt as though I had any choice. Perhaps some physical exercise might help to burn off some of that anxiety, even if it's just going for a nice long walk. Good luck!
