I want to get an eye exam done before this summer because I haven't done one in five years and I use glasses. My past experiences weren't that good, I just didn't feel welcomed and my glasses were poorly made That I never went back. The part that I'm nervous about is having your eyes dilating because now with anxiety is scary and you can't see well and getting the right pair of glasses on top of that

You could get the exam done and then go to zenni optical online. They are great quality and they are not expensive. My mom got a pair of bifocals that were also transition and she paid like $60. I didn’t see any negative reviews online.

I also dread getting my eyes examined. I hate when they shoot the air into your eyes. It always takes several try’s because I keep closing my eyes. It doesn’t really hurt, but it surprises me and feels funny.

I’ve also experienced problems at the eye dr. I didn’t like the way they treated me in the office, but after 2 times of incorrect prescriptions, I found another optometrist.
They always seem to get bothered by the fact the the air puff bothered my daughters and myself. I got lucky and found a vision center that doesn’t do that test.
Shopping around for other options is my advice.
