...supposebly this has to do with ADD, so any suggestions on how you handle this would be greatly appreciated

Starting things for me can be a daily battle, however, in my experience finishing things is just as difficult as starting them. I get bored easily so I try to make starting fun. turn it into a game. being ADD it is easy to daydream, I sometimes get things started by using fantasy during the task. Anything to make it seem more interesting. It helps me sometimes, however It is a challenge, reward yourself after starting and completing things. I am on medication and still struggle with this problem, the most important is to not give up!!
