Hi, I was diagnosed with ADD when i was in elementary school. I was put on riddlin, but that didnt seem to do anything for me. Eventualy i refused medication around the start of highschool, and now I am in college. Basicly what my problem is; I just dont feel motivated. Im usualy a pretty happy guy, but lateley ive been going around feeling "blah" about 65% of the time. I have always had trouble with school, mainly doing homework and studying and i get distracted easily.

I need to find some way to get my life in order. I want to be motivated to do the things i set out to do and would like to stay away from meds if at all possible. Thank you for listening.

Dear compdude

Maby your still searching for your nitch in life. I'm sure your not alone. Many people feel just as you do every day and there not ADHD. Did you ever think of revisiting the possability that your not ADHD and maby just bord.
Some of the smartest people in life are just bord because thay can't find that right thing to stimulate them.
I don't think " blah" is a ADHD simptum, HA HA just kidding with ya.
But really, I think motivation, distraction and consentration can be side effects from other things, not just adhd, and you did say the meds. didn't work anyway. These days it seems when ever a child shows these simptims there medicated for adhd. Its so over used and such a shame. Half the population out there, dignossed with having ADHD do not even have it. You may just want to consider that.
You never know, you may have some depression who knows. That could make you feel "blah" as well.
Anyway just my thoughs and I don't expect you to substute them for your own. Only you truely know yourself.

Good luck hon
Jacqui :-))
