Hi! Are you seeking professional help for official diagnoses? I think that will help.

Actually, some folks have a lot more issues.

I know. I am a worrier, too. I try to remember I could have it worse to make myself feel better, so I was hoping that that would help you. I'm sorry if it sounded like I was trivializing your problems. Yes, you do have a lot to deal with. Certainly a lot more than I do.

Let's see if folks here with ADHD have anything to say.

Are you wondering if somebody could have ADHD along with your other problems? I certainly think so.....

Sorry you seem to be stuck with me for trying to help, and I am doing a pitiful job. Please remember that we are not professionals here, but fellow sufferers.

In order to get an official diagnosis, you will need to be tested by some professional who does that type of thing. I suggest you call some therapists' offices to see if they know someone.

My son was in counseling, and his counselor sent him to a special place for testing. (He did test as ADHD.)

Does that help at all? I am so sorry if it doesn't.....

Alas, it might be that you'll have to wait. In the meantime, if you want to read more about ADHD, then look at the sticky regarding resources at the top of this ADHD forum.

ADHD can be managed (worked around), and you can try some of the techniques, even though you aren't sure yet if you have it. My son has a 3.4 GPA at a prestigious university, is very active socially, etc. One of the main authors of one of the books that's classic for such problems is a medical doctor. (The book is called "Driven to Distraction.")

I don't want you to worry so much. Okay?
