Hi countryboy!

I'd say let it out in any non-destructive way you must. So, yes, scream, cry, punch a pillow.

Alternatively, is there anything you find particularly relaxing or soothing? Maybe you could use that as a distraction when things are at their worst?

And please excuse these questions but I don't know you...Do you have a doc to help you will this? Are you on any meds?

Peace,
Julia

Look into maybe getting medical care for people without insurance. There are many options in my state (Indiana), but maybe call the social services dept. to find out what is available where you live. I had to go on medication & I don't think I could survive without it now. What a difference after struggling for years & years (I am old).
Thanks for this!

I was in your situation somewhat, and my state has low-income mental health help.
Maybe call mental health. Although, I have to say, I recently went to a new General Practioner Doc. and he's the one who mentioned to me ADHD. I have an appointment on Wed.
I am all new to this, even though I've known something has been wrong for about 20 years. I married at 26 and divorced at 36. Had several different types of jobs, can't sleep, etc. Have been self medicating with alcohol to shut my brain off because no one knew what was wrong with me.
It will be in your best interest to get help.
Thanks for this!
