So here I thought I was up and I was for sure. But not this morning. This morning I felt terrible. And now I feel as if the energy is starting to come back. Am I going to go back and forth within a day. I don't know if I can handle that. It makes me more tired trying to figure out where I'm at and where I'm going than to just be one or the other. I was wide awake at bed time took ativan and benedryl and it ddnt do anything so I took another ativan. Finally fell asleep. Ddnt hear the alarm but woke up on time anyway so that was good. One of my meds is making me feel ill. I don't want to eat for fear I'll puke it up. I'm not feeling well right now. I think the whole thing is a bunch of hooha. I don't know if this is all worth it. And my head hurts.

It's so frustrating sometimes. I have a tendency to evaluate every emotion and wonder if it is the next episode beginning.
Earlier this summer I was either in a mixed state or cycling rapidly, often several times per day. I was depressed, and angry and irritable and full of ugly energy, then back to depressed again. It was so tiring. A lack of sleep really irritates the situation for me too. Can you just take it easy today and do relaxing things to try to take your mind off how you feel? I would suggest that if your med continues to make you feel sick that you call the p-doc and ask what to do. I forget if you are on Abilify or not, but when I took it, I got very sick and had to go off of it. I hope you feel better soon. |

Its the wellbutrin that is making me sick. I may take it at night and see if it bothers as much.

Good luck. I hope it helps. Sometimes sleeping it off is just the thing. Will Wellbutrin keep you up at night?

Wellbutrin did make me feel irritable/aggressive in the beginning, but never sick. I only got sick when I tried to quit it or had a late dose. Not sure what all you're on, but it's possible to feel sick on ANY medication, so ignore me if you know it's Wellbutrin and can't be anything else.

Are you on ANTI-Depressant Are you on ANTI-Anxiety Are you on MOOD STABLIZER All are needed............... Mood stabilizer is a major part of stablitity. BUT of course with bipolar there never really is a stablitity for long....that's okay though we just have to keep trying new meds. We cycle so often we get used to them so fast Also watch EVERY THING you INTAKE - FOOD.... Stimulatants. I have stuff that works oppositie with me herbals etc..... Bipolar is big time messed up - at least we're unpredicatable..... making light for myself as well... Hugs Starlite ![]() |

I'm pretty sure its the wellbutrin. It the new one. I am on lamictal ativan and wellbutrin now. I don't know what to think about it yet. If I'm sick feeling then I won't eat as much and might lose a cpl pounds. That can't hurt. Anyway took it at night (the wellbutrin) still having the nausea. Its a dbl edged sword. I'm also kinda numb right now. I feel like a drone. Anyonw else felt like that. Like I'm on autopilot. More ppl have been telling me its been noticeable that something isn't right with me. And I'm telling everybody cuz I don't care. Tell ppl all kinds of stuff right now. And I'm tired. Still having trouble getting to sleep and I need a lot to be able to function properly. Even with the depressed day where I slept all day I wasn't refreshed. The swings are wearing me down. And at work they put me down for a ltl more hours. Not sure if I can handle those 3 extra hours right now or ever. It took me a long time to be able to function at what I'm doing now. But if I work less I lose my insurance so I need it. And there are so many more stressers at the moment with new school schedule. I'm feeling overwhelmed. I think that's why I'm going back and forth so much.

I don't know why your DR didn't prescribe it for the AM. Most everyone with bipolar has it in AM. I do. Plus, if you're getting nauseous, eat a cookie or bread or anything with it. Like take it with dessert or breakfast as the case may be. This is just what I've been told before.
If you've been told this already, please disregard my ignorance of the fact. Sorry that you're overwhelmed. ![]() I've been getting a few more hours lately too. I've never had health insurance through my work (anywhere!) so I'm lucky in that sense. I get it through school, but I was uninsured for 5 or 6 years in my 20s. Yikes. Glad I wasn't dx'd or worse yet, had to go to hospital before I had insurance. I'd be doomned. Lost a lot of weight while being depressed and on Wellbutrin. The sucky part is your appetite is so suppressed it's hard to eat something you really like. Me, I was 135 pounds in Dec '07, by Fall '08 I was 125, by Feb '09 I was down to 108. Since then I fluctuated 108-111. Now I'm down to 107.4 ![]() So, all that to say, yes, you likely will lose some weight on WB, but is it worth it to you if you're having terrible side effects? They may go away, but who knows. ![]()
