Well yesterday i saw my new psychologist. And she actually told me what i have. She says i have Bipolar 1. Well i was put on lamictal that is used to treat seizures but helps with the mood swings. Finnally someone tells me whats wrong. My last psych didnt tell me anything. Now im on three drugs naltrezone prozac and lamictal thats five pills a day. 3 prozacs to get 60 mg.
well i just thought i should share the news.

I am glad that you now know your dianosis. I hope that it helps you treat your symptoms. I hope you feel relieved now that you know. It is nice to understand why you feel the way you do sometimes.

i went through years with the wrong DX. it was such a relief when i found out what it was. i also take lamictal and i take wellbutrin.

So glad that you have a diagnosis. I was just diagnosed in Nov. '04 with Bipolar II and it felt like a weight was lifted off of my shoulders. For the first time I understood why I did the things I did and felt the way I did.
