When you wake up in the morning?

I know with BP Disorder, we all wake up to days we are uncertain about what mood we will be in each day.

What is the 1st thing you think of or say to yourself when you wake up in the morning.

I always think to myself, "Well another day to ge through", followed by, "I need coffee".

What do you 1st think of when you open your eyes in the morning?

First thing I think in the morning is "I'm still here" or "Damn another day."

Then I proceed to kiss and snuggle to my GF tell her "good morning beautiful." Then continue to kiss her then make love since I'm usually horny in the morning.

first thing I do is look at the clock & if I've gotten at least 5 hours of sleep the day is gonna be a lot better. I won't be so tired & moody & I'll get more done & won't feel so bad about myself.

I meditate, and try to approach the day with a wise mind. If people piss me off I picture hitting them with my AK.

That is how i try to be although lately it has been **** i gotta figure all this out. and then ups and downs all day. suicide ideation followed by paranoia blah, blah. mixed state is real and completely drains ya.

I usually think, crap got to go get the baby. I can't lie in bed and just fully wake up because his diaper is always dirty in the morning and I can't stand to leave him in it. I also get irritated because I have to yell at my husband several times to get him up.

I try to figure out what day it is, if it's day or night, was that a nap or nighttime, do I HAVE to go to the bathroom or can I go back to sleep? Also, hmm, is there anything new and interesting on PC?

if it's a day i work i think if i harmed myself right now i wouldn't have to go. If it's a day i don't work then i have a smoke, check forums, check my ants then go back to bed.

Right now, the very first thing I think about is my upcoming surgery...like today its 13 days till surgery!!

During the work week I think, "Dang...I gotta go to work again!" If it's the weekend I think, "Dang, I slept in so late!" LOL
I love sleep, but hate waking up! lol

Normally I get up and say a prayer and meditate for a while on the Words of the Bible. But lately things have been so disturbed with my dad slowly dying, that I find myself just praying for him.

The last two mornings I have woken up at 7am (NOT a morning person) and started doing work, and phoned my sister. Just wide awake. Maybe a touch of hypomania? Usually that is my night pattern.

I wake and lay there for a second or three and think..damn it wasn't a dream! This is real life. I then go outside and smoke and try to figure out my emotions and feelings. Hopefully I can lie to myself enough to believe I am in a fantastic mood and its gonna be a great day. I think my mind has lie-arrhea! But it works for me.

I don't have a sleep pattern, I take pills but it doesn't work the way that should be, I waking like 6am... So lately I wake up go make my coffe, check mails and think OMG it's going to be a long day, I want the night to come again. So I go back to sleep for a while to recover but still the same...
I feel tired of this life and suffering many triggers from the outside world... it's hard, makes me feel anxious, depressed, hopefulness and question what the hell I'm doing here!!!
When I went to sleep again I think, please give me energy to life...

I think that I am so thankful the night is over so I don't have to deal with any more horrible running thoughts I can't stop. I also think that I'm not ready to get up and face the world or anybody and just want to hide in bed for awhile longer (but usually I get up anyway).

First thing I do when I wake up is check the time because sometimes I wake up after two, three or four hours and other times I will sleep eight or more hours before awakening. First thing I say to myself is can I go back to sleep or do I need to feed the animals?
