Just CAN'T STAND IT!!!

I'm getting really weird/manic something...can't focus my thoughts. I just want to go out and consume large quantities of various Latin American imported products, legal and not, play a bass guitar really loud and leave with someone I've never seen before...

I've been getting more and more like this the past few days, really bad today. I can't be still, but I can't do anything, either... I've taken several Xanax already...hasn't fazed me, but the headache went away. I think maybe the stress is getting to me. A little while ago I felt like I might be about to crash into depression, but maybe not...

Someone help....

I know what you mean. Been there felt that a few times. I try my hardest to do something ocnstructive instead though. Like I do scrapbooking and quilting. Although I dont think your into that , though I couls be wrong ! LOL! Do you have anything you can do that is constructive like that? Just a thought.

Yes, that's the thing... 've TONS to tod, even fun stuff, but I just can't seem to concentrate on anything, and I go stomping off.

Today it felt like my skin was on FIRE, it was tingling so much...everything just seems crazy-wrong-unpredictable...

You do have a pdoc right? Are they able to disperse drugs for you so you dont have to pay for them right now? I am thinking this may be anxiety here . The way you are saying your skin feels on fire and all. Do you see your pdoc anytime soon or can you call them tomorow and explain things? You may just need something for the anxiety.

I had a pdoc appt today also . Cause I have been having problems focusing also and he upped my Topomax(mood stabilizer) to a hundred mg twice a day instead of a hundred for the whole day. SO it could be you need to have your stablizer ( i take it your on one being your bipolar) upped maybe too? Either way my suggestion is that you call your pdoc tomorrow. Hope this helps.

No, I gaveup the quilting after I stitched myself into some sort of Amish ring design---it was a bad deal <giggle>!!

I do have woodworking which I am beginning to learn, and I could always play my guitars and basses, just not as much fun by myself...Anxiety is definitely the problem here, but I don't have insurance to go see my pdoc. I'll probably give her a call and see what she wants to do. (There are NO community pdocs here).I neeed to get a lithium level drawn--it hasn't been done since I left the hospital in August. It seems like a lot of the free stuff is closed for the week...oh, well! And I can get psych meds through NAMI. YAAAAY!!!

(((((((((((((((DJ)))))))))))))) I wish I could do something to help allieviate your symptoms. Try and contact your pdoc and see what they can do for you. If you can't get in maybe a phone call will help. I hope that they can. I am here for you if you need me.

I'm trying to finish a jewelry box I am making for my younger daughter...but as I try to figure out how and where to cut the joints, it's like trying to find that word that's right on the tip of your tongue...I just can't quite get it. The whole world is like that...like a puzzle I can't quite solve. Very frustrating.

On the other hand, could it just be that without a woman around to tell me what to do , and how and when to do it, I'm lost?

I just wanted to say that no matter how the jewellery box turns out, your daughter is going to very proud of her dad for being so creative! little girls love jewellery boxes, if you get stuck, just put lots of glitter and beads on it, to decorate or "cover up" any glitches, lol.. I'm sure it'll turn out gorgeous.

I don't have BP but my sister does. the best thing I think that you could do is try to surround yourself w/ people, while you're maybe doing one of the things you have to do... the only reason why I'm saying that is b/c even w/ the best intentions, if you're anxious to this extreme it'll be one hell of a job to get anything done to distract yoursel when you're by yourself. hope things get better soon.
