Got my home leave from Hospital extended to Sunday. Yay.

However. Obviously being off the tight leash that is placed firmly around your upper arms in an admission...I've been slightly stupid. I haven't taken any of my meds in two days. And I am now on my second night of zero sleep, at 2:50am.

I've been hearing voices (the external type which aren't existent at all, unfortunately) and also had a short visual & auditory hallucination involving my ex (who I ironically met on a psych ward last year).

Very happy. Elated. Rushed. GOT A LOT OF IDEAS. If you get what I mean. Luckily I know I'm just being a bit of an idiot investing the money I am beginning to invest in a new business but regardless, I'm doing it.

It's nice to be free even temporarily from arrhythmia and almost crippling lethargy.

Casually got shirtless in the rain today and went around singing to my friends. "I'm siiiinggggiiiiinggg in the rain" and all that malarkey.

Anyway. Yeah. Not sure if my psych is going to be overly impressed with me. AH WELL!

Back on the meds in the morning though. Time to restore at least a little mood stability.

Glad you were able to enjoy yourself for a bit. and equally glad you realized it for what it is. You made a great decision to go in and get help .. Your a very smart person Heres to hoping your stay is short and your feeling stable again very soon.

Ps I think more of us need to be " singing in the rain"

Oooh yeah. Get what you mean. How damn good all the ideas and elation feels after the other...oooh yes. But...(and you already know what I'm going to say) -- be careful!
Your idea to get back on the meds tomorrow is a good one.
I'm really glad you've had this reprieve and are having some fun times. Really glad. And that you've recognized what's going on so as not to let it get too far out of hand. Smart you are!

So good to hear from you, RB!

Christina, I agree about the "singing in the rain" part. My daughter gave me a keychain that reads "Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass..it's about learning to dance in the rain."
Here's to dancing!
