I'm dx with bipolar II disorder, PTSDd and DID. I'm having alot of trouble with depression part of it. I've been isolating, moody and feeling hopeless.
I was dx about (bipolar) 5 years ago. My meds seem good. I'm doing alot in therapy. This is a triggering time for me.

I really need some support and suggestions, please.

I too suffer from depression. The one thing that has helped me the most is opening up to people. I only recently discovered the benefit of talking through my problems thanks to a friend in a similar situation (if you can find someone that really understands your problem, the benefit is tenfold) Try exercise also this has helped me greatly, it sounds silly but it really works (for me anyway). it sounds like you have a lot on your plate and i hope you find some answers to your problems
Thanks for this!

Be kind to yourself and don't expect too much. When things are hard you can't do everything that you normally can do. So be a bit lenient to yourself and give yourself permission to curl up in a ball if you need to.
Also exercise really helps my mood. Just a 30 minute walk is enough. It helps to get outside and into the sun for a bit.
Talk with your pdoc - maybe your meds need tweaking a bit if you are still depressed.
Hope things improve really soon

I don't have a ton of advice, but I can certainly offer support!

Agreeing with all the good advice above. Try to be kind and nurturing to yourself, find the self-soothing things to do. Good for you reaching out to this board for support and the therapist tomorrow should help a lot I hope!

I have depression and bipolar also. I keep a journal and write poetry and listen to music when I am feeling lost. I also stay connected to the community in my church.
