I guess I should reply to my own post! I think I am eccentric, but only in relation to other people. I don't really consider myself eccentric ... if that makes any sense.

I thought this question would be easy from the post title. But... then relating it to BP or not stumped me...

I'm not rich enough to be considered 'eccentric'......I'm just an odd little duck. HAHA!!

After 5 mins of talking to someone I was told I was. People also say they broke the mold when they made me, I don't understand that one fully but I think it has to do with this as well. I've been told I march to the beat of my own drum plenty too.

Yep and I think it is mainly from the PTSD and bp

yes I am odd. Recently my pdoc said my bipolar and PTSD were under control but I still have my peculiar traits. Just me being me, wouldn't want to be 'normal' at all.

I have some eccentric behaviors. I dont attribute it all to bp, but i do think its related to some degree.

I'm totally & absolutely odd, but I have been since I was born! The link in my sig explains my theory on my eccentricities. : )

I am quite strange, compared to others. There's a very strong streak of eccentricity on my mother's side of the family. Bipolar comes courtesy of my father's side.
I voted that it relates to my BP. But I should explain that I see the BP as a side effect of eccentricity, not the other way around. There are plenty of people in our family who are mad as hatters with a propensity to wear hand-knitted multicoloured scarves without being BP. ![]() |

I'm weird and darn proud of it!
![]() I don't know how much my eccentricity relates to bipolar. I know that bp contributes, but I doubt that it explains all of it.

Yup, eccentric as heck. Does it have anything to do with my bp? Nope. I was weird before i was BP. I have a demented sense of humor, talk to myself in the grocery store, yell at the Tv and computer, and still have a teddy bear at 47. Oh yeah, I'm eccentric.
