Yep folks I had to restart my Haldol again

I'm getting really tired of the hallucinations! auditory and visual . Right now I'm aware it's not real ( for now) So I went ahead and took the stupid orange pill

I do wish my hallucinations included George Clooney or any other drool worthy man

Yes I am trying to maintain a decent mood. Not sure how long it will last. LOL

Thanks for reading my rant/vent/B****fest.

You guys are Great

I definitely know how it feels to go back on meds you'd rather not touch again. I hope the Haldol helps, though. Hallucinations are the worst! Not being able to trust what you see or hear? Not knowing if your experience is reality? The worst! Hugs to you, love.

Aww, shoot!!!

I'm sorry you have to continue with the Haldol. It is the worst, I agree when you feel like you cannot trust your own eyes or ears. I always felt after an episode of psychosis that it was kind of like your ego self being shattered and you have to slowly piece it together again, I guess kinda like humpty dumpty, That to me is the worst part. And I actually hope no one relates to that because It's truly awful.

I hope this all ends soon Christina. Its been a long tough year for you. So glad you are trying to keep positive tho, and ohhh have I got a video for you... sort of in frame with the george clooney comment haha.

Keep taking it one day at a time.

I'm gonna go watch that video and umm meditate.

Your always there for me too, that's what good friends are for. wish I wasn't soo far away and that I could do more to help. Your right always gotta keep the hope flowing, when that stops then we're really in trouble.

I was looking at a book called "Spontaneous Happiness" thinking about buying it, if i stop being so cheap. But it looks pretty good, maybe check it out.

No I'm not Indian, just kinda white. But I do take a lot of my spiritual practice from Hinduism.

well 10 minutes at a time is a good start. Just keeping doing that and it will progress. I think something we often do is tell ourselves.. "oh I can only do it for this long, or I get distracted too much" that kind of thing. We sort of think there will be a point where we are doing it, instead of trying to do it. But we have that mixed up, when we are "trying" to do it, we are doing it. And it's all a practice. Even the best monks minds wander during meditation, and I really believe that even 30 seconds or 10 minutes, you will still receive benefits from doing it.

Once we get over that " Am I doing it right? " bit then I think it really helps to deepen our experience. That helped me a lot.

Good luck with it, and keep it up, I love to hear about peoples experiences with this, it really makes me excited.

Oh I know you've tried for so long to avoid taking the Haldol. I'm sorry you have not succeeded at that struggle. I'm very glad that you have been able to remain so positive during this time. My thoughts are with you and I hope you find your peace soon.
Thanks for this!

How are you doing? I hope the annoying hallucinations have subsided? And you are doing great like always at staying in a kind and decent mood fyi (well with us at least hehe), Love u!! And if you need to growl, that's fine too. I love to get in my car (remember to roll up windows, note to self, after last time) and scream or roar or bark or meow....

That's so funny Blue,

I can just picture you and Christina both doing this now! And both forgetting to roll up the windows. I only have a BMX (no windows) but maybe I'll try this in my driveway next time.

If only I could have seen the Prius driver's face, or yours when you realized the window was down. hehe

She'd already run in the store from me and my daughter. But the rest of the parking lot heard, and they did not approve haha. I looked for the woman in the store out of curiousity, but never found her rofl. I still get a good chuckle thinking about it.

Awww MTW, I am so sorry that the hallucinations are causing you problems. I love how you don't let these problems dampen your spirit, though. Good luck, and many hugs!

Christina my friend... Growl, roar,spit venom, claw- or do it simultaneously if you like! You fought a good fight so far, but there's no shame in bringing out the big guns, even when the recoil hurts. I know you hate the haldol, I would too, but it's just until the hallucinatons are gone or until George Clooney appears;
) i admire your spirit,kick bipolar's butt my friend!
