Well, just up'ed my paxil dose and it has been about three days. I am also on effexor. I have noticed that my right hand has a slight tremor and that my body is starting to vibrate.

This happened once before when I was on both effexor and wellbutrin. I think it is a too much seratonin thing, but correct me if I am wrong.

I am trying to decide if I should just live with this little annoyance since my mood is much better OR ask to lower the effexor dose.

It is such a precarious thing because my mood could drop and then I am back to that "shitshow". I don't want to destabilize, especially since we might be moving and I will likely be interviewing for a new job within a week or so.

Any advice or suggestions? If the seratonin stays too high, do you drop even lower the next time?

Too much serotonin can kill you. You really weren't warned? But, if this happened on Wellbutrin it probably wasn't serotonin at the time because Wellbutrin doesn't effect that part of your brain.

Definitely talk with your doctor about it. I had some meds that caused my hands to shake, definitely lithium, but there were others. I don't know if it was serotonin or something else. It wasn't dangerous for me but you should tell your pdoc about it. It was embarrassing and annoying though. I felt judged when people could notice it.

This is a very precarious situation. In my experience, it is better not to have the shakes when you are being interviewed, yet it is better to be in a good mood and stable when you are being interviewed. Tough.

I also had/have pretty bad tremors on Effexor. I've let my pdoc know and all that. At this point I'm just putting up with it.
Personally, with an interview, I would rather go in shaking than unstable :/ At least the shaking I can usually hide a little.
Thanks for this!

Thanks everyone! A quick update........... the tremor comes and goes. I will mention it to the doc, but I going to rule out a few other things first, like caffeine intake. Ordinarily do decaf but this week have had a bit of caffeine.
Sucks when you are thirty six and your hand looks like you have Parkinson's.
