The rep I talked to set everything up and scheduled me to be evaluated Monday at 2:00. She understood the situation with my psych and said they would not need a referral since my insurance doesn't require it. I also talked to my mother in law and she said to just tell her the time and she'll keep the kids so I can go to treatment. My husband has found a support group for spouses of bipolar people and wants to see what classes the program offers for spouses. I'm grateful beyond words that they are stepping up to the plate.
The goal right now is to keep me out of the hospital between now and then. I won't be afraid to go if I need to. I'm done with my psych.

This is all good news!
You can make it to Monday. It is not that far away, really. Days go by pretty quickly. Try to do things that keep your mind busy if possible. You can do it. ![]()

I so feel you here, I am in the same boat but am pregnant too. The outpatient crisis center helped so much more than my psych, who I am about done with. Do you have a therapist? I have read that having one helps alot and is just one more person to advocate for you.
You are so lucky to have the husband and in laws that support you. My husband is amazing and because my family is 2000 miles away my inlaws have been amazing in their support as I go through this episode and pregnancy. Best of luck to you, let me know how it goes!! |
