No sleep, maybe 2 hours here or maybe there every second night or so for the last few weeks. I am soo tired. But it's ok, it feels like rest almost. Which is weird. I dunno if I am so tired that I have just shut down. Feels almost like being high on something, or tranquilized, I think my body also feels stoned. I am not so good with describing. But a very peaceful exhaustion, until I realize I have to be awake in 2 hours, and then " ohhh sugar foot!!!" Shoot, I am no where near close to sleep. Just zombie-ing out.

Was it worth it.. not sure. Too tired to almost think. This is a bit pointless.

Ok so anyone feel like that when they are way past exhausted? Now I would wonder about the healthiness of feeling stoned off that.

I am sorry if I seem neglectful of anyone lately, I feel useless to be of much help . But I have been reading and I do care about you's

Sorry this is happening, Anika. Are you getting plenty of the Omega 3 fatty acids? They are really calming and help me rest well. I go through periods of lack of sleep at night, too, but it's much less often taking about 1500 mg. omega 3 before going to bed at night. It might work for you; I hope you find the thing that will let you rest.Take care.
Thanks for this!

I think if you're lacking sleep for a long time you go into kind of an auto-pilot mode. Be careful, though. Lack of sleep can mess with your mind and trigger and episode.

My uncle used to tell me that even if I couldn't sleep, laying down in a dark room and just being "restful" was better than nothing. As long as you can do that, I think you are okay. If your mind is not letting you sleep, that's when I'd really start worrying.

Thank you for listening guys,

still more of the same. I feel slightly faint, maybe elevated blood pressure, in my case wouldn't be a bad thing, tho not certain and it doesn't feel normal or nice. How those could go together.. dunno. The last time I went so long with no sleep I fainted a few times, but I was also in the hospital and I can't be certain it was no a combo of sleep deprivation and meds combined, nor the fact that there was an exercise bike and tho no one else seemed interested in that at all, I bonded with the bike.

Gen, yes getting plenty of Omegas, never really seemed to impact my sleep tho. This has been a thing since I was about 13 or 14, I have learned to live with it, nothing has seemed to help, i can up the dose tho and see what happens.

I do sit in dim light and quiet when I should be sleeping, it's the brain that's soo busy. I tried yoga and meditation, yoga makes me umm excited and alert no matter which type I do, not so good for sleepy time.

What I am more concerned about it actual affect on the body, my mind seems to be doing ok this time round so far. I am expending a lot of energy at work, yoga, home, and walking, and I am a natural person in motion, I really have a hard time to just sit throughout the day even for short periods. I don't want to literally wear my body out. yikes :/

Interesting about micro sleeps.. I didn't know or I have forgotten. So we are getting sleep involuntarily and without knowledge that we do it. Yes, ok this is not a good reason to not sleep, I know my head just did go there. shame on me.
