Good idea Shattered..

I have a huge to do list and I am bad for procastinating.

Right now I am trying to save money for my youngest son's glasses, he needs new ones but the lenses alone run about $700, plus cost of frames. He is extremly far sighted, I think he may need bifocals again which will increase the lense price..ouch.

I need to get iron shots asap, feel like I am dying with such low iron.

Need to get back to the yoga studio more often, 3 times a week isn't cutting it right now. First day of january I want to give myself a new challenge. Yoga everyday for 90 days.

Finish my christmas shopping.

Set up my kids ski lessons, and find my oldest son new equipmemt because he has grown so much this year. Not sure how I am going to pull that off.

My house needs a deep clean really badly.

Everyone at my house needs a dental checkup.

I must go see the opthamologist. I had a torn retina a few years ago, had it lasered back together and am suppposed to have my retinas checked once a year.. I did it once..so bad I do not want to have reinal detachment. And I need the pressure in my eyes and field vision test. I can tell I am loseing more periphrial vision still.

Cant think of the rest right now..

Shatterd whats on your list?

No nice lotions I used to have this delicious mango body butter lotion, the smell was like heaven. No motivation for shower other than, "I know it's the right thing after 3rd day without". No one would know, I could pull it off another day but it's not right going to work like that. Bleh not into going to work today either... wish I was up in Tahoe in a warm cabin, with fireplace blazing, looking at snow fall and drinking a hot cocoa with some of that liqueur stuff in it lol. I could just watch snow fall all day, mesmerized. But not here, it's just gray and dark with some rain coming in soon. Bleh bleh bleh, I will be proud of myself after shower if I get it done.

-Start cleaning up the clutter and determining what stays and what goes.

-Find an apartment that will accept us with
a) really bad credit
b) possibly no referrances
c) close enough to a school or a school bus stop
d) not too far from work to require more gas
e) in our price range

-See if the kids qualify for medicaid so I can drop our insurance so we can better afford cost of living.

-Figure out how to celebrate a first birthday with 0 money -.-

Kids can be in peachcare for kids but in order to apply you can't have insurance or you won't be eligible. Medicaid income limits are way low, when you apply for it for the children at dfcs they can open the peachcare. Or I think you can apply at your local health department.

  1. Shower and wash hair. It is Friday. The last time I showered was Wednesday, and that was only because I was meeting friends for a Christmas dinner that night. Prior to my Wednesday shower, the last time I showered was Saturday.
  2. Get dressed. It is 1:30 p.m. and I am still in pajamas.
  3. Start Christmas shopping, preferably today because the stores will be super-crowded this weekend. I have no idea what to get people and I only have about $50 to spend.
  4. Do some more marketing work to try to get freelance clients. I'm been procrastinating.
  5. Wash the sheets and blankets on my bed. I used to wash them once in a great while, but only when I thought about it or when a pet puked. Since August, I've tried to wash them once a week. But it has now been about 4 weeks.

Been Xmas shopping all week. I think I'm done finally but waiting for a package to come Monday. Maybe spend part of the weekend with a friend I don't know.

1 thing i really must do is sort out the clothes in my wardrobe (so much of them don't fit me anymore it's a joke!) and i've been putting it off for so long too... i've been saying i'll do that since like the end of the summer months?. something like that..

find some cool electronic christmas cards to email some of my friends in my addressbook

um

think that's really it... when you lie in bed all day most days you don't really have that big of a list

What a great thread!

For the rest of today, I have:

- take a shower and wash my hair
- finish two handmade gifts
- check how well I have packed
- still pack the new phone, the charger, the credit cards
- put away clean clothes (now on my bed) that I am not taking
- feed myself
- feed the cats
- go to bed early, with an alarm clock
- take bedtime meds

When I come back, the TODO would be:

- to get over the jetlag, which is always difficult for me
- to do everything right at work
- to see my lawyer and sign the motion he will have prepared
- to unclutter the apartment to the best of my ability
- to pay the cat sitter
- to send a check to my hairdresser (I ran out of checks and could not pay her when I saw her - then ordered a new checkbook)

This used to be true about not having insurance, but recently HR sent out a huge "read this is important" memo that states that they are obligated to let us know that if our children qualify for CHP, you can be on it (Medicaid, too for adults,) as long as you meet the income requirements. If you do not qualify, you may be eligable for premium assistance. New laws.

My to do list:

Wash dishes

but so far I've been to the grocery store and cleaned out the fridge and taken out the trash.

I also need to call my pdoc and return stuff but I'm putting that off until tomorrow.
