I had a lot of encourageing responses on my first thread..I wanted to thank all of you for that!
Tho its been hard this Chrismas with out my beloved.adored Father, I was able to be the one who carried the smiles and a positive attitued..I dont know where it came from but there it was.
With that, I am also happy to see alot of positive threads on here,I know there are others who are struggling with depression,My heart goes out to you..and heres a lil thing I picked up to make you laugh..

"If your Crazy and you know it Shake your Meds.."
Hey, it made me chuckle.

I tend to laugh at myself .alot, Im the only one who thinks my jokes are funny, but Im ok with that!@! lol..

I bet you had all that holiday spirit because your father was there with you in spirit. He like passed you the torch if you know what I mean? He gave you a great gift by having so much spirit that even now you carry it within you, and that's pretty awesome.

That made me laugh. We sing the happy and you know it song a lot (the usual one) at my house. The baby just learned to clap about two months ago, and if you sing it (no matter what words) he will clap. It's pretty cute.

Thank You DarkHeart, thats precious about your babies, I did that song with mine also,I hope thy pass it on to thier children..
I like what you said about my dad,and u no, I think your right..No one cried the whole holiday, we just went about it as we have for all my life..which is a looong time.
I tried to start a new tradition of telling funny stories about my dad, or tell of some endearing memories of him..only a few of us could manage it, but its realy too soon for some of my family members..thats ok tho..it will come in time..

Telling of funny stories will come in time. I lost my mom 20 years ago. It was a long time before I could tell funny stories about her. Or to tell stories without crying. I still am sad that she is gone, but I can remember her now most times without a lot of tears usually.

I remember my first Christmas without daddy, well obviously, duh, it was 2010! And I just want to say that I believe he was there with you in spirit, and that you made his first Christmas manageble too, bcoz he didnt have to worry about his family. I'm really happy it went well, and dont worry, the story sharing will become easier with time, it definitly has for us, and it may sound weird, but I think starting early helped, coz there wasnt time for daddy to become a taboo subject. Love the song btw

I miss my daddy so much still. He passed early January 1999. So around this time of year, and he'd lost his mom before I was born around same time of year. So there's always been strange sadness following a festive Xmas. I think he's still watching over me. I'm sure your daddies are still watching over you too.

Thank you for the L&R Wildchild, I like that.

I Think so too,I was afraid we wouldnt feel his prescense,(I cant spell, school was along time ago..lol) but I guess it was thro me..wow, I didnt think of it that way.
In times like this sometimes you dont know how to act, scared to speak,or dont know how to be cooth about it, strangely, it worked out. I ususally have a f@$%- up fairy humping leg on a regular basis, but this time,I did good,YEA I can for once be proud of myself..in a humble way...feels good,Thank you my wonderful new Goddessess!

Sorry about your dad. It must be tough to lose someone that close to you.

I liked your joke- it made me laugh.
I don't think I caught your last thread cos I was away for Chrissy so welcome to PC.
