my wife and my psychiatrist get together and they make up all kinds of rules for me lol. Bed by eight o clock seven days a week. no coffee after twelve. monitor my meds and make sure I don't forget. Monitor my moods and she reports changes. They wanted a strict schedule for when I was home alone but I refused that one. Can't get up too early either, need at least eight hours sleep. be in touch 24/7 on my phone. Ugh... yep, a lot of rules.

Dan, yes are you ok with that?

I know I could probably use some rules cause I have none really, but not sure I want someone deciding when I sleep and wake. or anything at all for me for that matter. That is concerning to me.

Rules are good if they help. But I prefer "guidelines"!!!
Though I had coffee at 3 pm and now it's 11pm and I'm wide awake!!!

I am ok with it... mainly cuz I am usually very laid back about things happening around the house and it keeps my wife happy and the family more stable. I do go to extremes... not just a lot but most of the time. so it would be fair to say that if I was given more freedom, I would cause some major instability within the family and prolly end up doing what my wife calls 'checking out', meaning that my mind is gone and i am only physically there.

the rules are good cuz they keep me here. and they protect my two kids from my insanity lol.

Rules are good but to have them made up or you I think is a bit much just my opinion though.

If you are good with it and it is helping then that is what matters, as long as it does not create resentment.

Hehe ya lap it up while you can. Me too getting my coffee in right now.

I'm glad that you have a positive attitude about having a structured routine. That says a lot about you, doing that for yourself and your family. Very proud of you.

Well I guess everyone is right. If it helps its worth doing. And since your ok with it all the better.

Maybe there are coffee flavored candies that would be close enough.
