It's been a while since I have last posted...

I just have finally gotten into a Pdoc and we are starting to work with the cocktail. They have me on 1500Mg of Depakote and 150Mg of Sertaline. I am not at all sure if I am Biplolar, or what. Whatever it is, it's getting old, and it now is affecting my ability to work.

My Pdoc does want me to go in to get DBT as well as individual and group therapy.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what I can do to help my Pdoc get me a proper diagnoses?

Thanks

Yes, a mood journal is really helpful.

I have been given a mood chart by my Pdoc, and I have also been keeping a blog that goes to family.

Thanks for your response.

I think keeping a mood journal, as others have suggested, and also paying close attention to how long the moods last and what triggers them (do you feel down because x just happened or was said, etc.? Do you feel up because of x?). Good luck!

Have you discussed diagnosis with your Pdoc? If so, what has he/she said so far? Good luck!

I have picked up a mood app for my phone, I use it during the day and then transfer it at night to my worksheet. So, at this point, I am doing whatever I can...
