Half of my apartment was carpet-cleaning. Now I need to make an appointment for the other half. I had to do this in two parts because the wet clean carpets need 24 hours for drying and I need to move stuff from the bedroom to the living room in order to make space for cleaning the bedroom.

So halfway through.

I left a nice message on my landlord's machine, advising him of my progress with carpet cleaning.

I helped my daughter take driver permit test at dmv today. She failed she was having horrible anxiety and snappy with me, but I kept my cool. And she texted me a while ago saying she found out she can take the test 2 more times with the $30 fee we paid (with a smiley) and thanked me for taking her.

I failed the first time, too. So many trick questions!

Aww She was so overwhelmed by the sounds and the standing small cubby to take test at. She thought it would be a quiet testing room like she got in hight school with her iep... po' baby. But I'm so proud of her she made that appointment and will try again - huge deal for this girl she's been through a lot.

So in the spirit of the thread, my positive for this morning is.... errrr... I'm awake early enough to get some errands done!

I have a great time at the support group I attend. I received a surprise tea party, we had cup cakes and carmel latte. All served on china and tea cups.

I've had a bad case of social anxiety lately; I've been having a tough time leaving the apartment. Today, however, I went & got a haircut (which always makes me feel better), & went grocery shopping (out of necessity -- I was totally out of food). Once I get out, I realize how foolish my social anxiety is, but my head sometimes resists taking action to relieve it.

I was able to focus long enough to read from Touched With Fire, The Most Human Human, The Invisible Sex, The Omnivore's Dilemma, and Food Matters. Oh, and I actually got some math done.

I'm a new member and I'm trying to post a positive about my day...not a reply...
I got up early, met a co-worker for coffee. which was a big accomplisment because it's been difficult to get out of bed...followed by a walk with my dog , Jax. Then i watched some TV. Felt a bit guilty wasting a beautiful day in front of the TV, so now I'm going to plant some flowers...on my way to a positive day. It's uplifting reading this site. Thank you all for your support.
