... How do you deal with it? I feel like my depressed phases make it so much worse and vice versa. And sometimes when I'm manic/hypo, I just eat so much and/or exercise until I end up getting hurt.

My self esteem, it just hit an all time low. I realized that not only am I not losing fat from my stomach/thighs, but I AM losing my chest. I feel like a chubby twelve year old.

I don't have an official ED, but I am an emotional eater. Maybe your health professional will have some suggestions.......

For right now at least, I feel good. I had pounds of crawfish, didn't attempt to calculate calories and don't feel guilty.

Please don't do it! I'm already getting sick from it and it's hard to quit when I'm not manic/hypo (in which case I just eat everything).

I have regular checks for osteoporosis. My metabolism is crap meaning I can not loose weight no matter what I do. Like I said before my ED/ metabolism effects what and when I take my meds. It also effects my compliance to meds. When hypo I eat to much. When manic or depressed I completely stop any food/water intake. I refuse to chew food when like this.

I try to keep v8 splash, and natural peanut butter around so I only have to have a min of courage to get the peanut butter down and take “shots” of v8. As far as exercising you may want to get a dog to run or take the pounds dog with you when the dog gets tired you have to stop. It's requiring you to care for some thing else and most likely you would not hurt the dog.

We have decided to order food (Sam's club) to pick up instead of actually shopping so we can make healthy food choices. That way we can't junk food shop.

I'll see if I can exercise with a friend, since I don't have a way to borrow a dog right now. That's a good idea keeping food around, that way if I'm intent on skipping a meal I can actually force myself to eat SOMETHING.
