t calls me today after i left him some messages. i told him he didnt have to call me back. he never calls me back. he called me back. said he was worried about me. says my mood sounds elevated. tells me to be careful. what the hell kind of advice is that? i feel as if i am spinning out of control and he tells me to be careful. his call only made me worry more that he is worried about me. grrrrr.....i want to gamble and smoke and spend and run amok. the last thing i want to do is whole up at home and be a good little girl.

Just remind yourself of what a mess running amok and the rest of it leaves to clean up after the manic fun is over.

TRy to relax. Focus on your breathing and positive thoughts.

Best wishes and good luck.

Im glad you called your T and he called back.... Yeah its so tempting to take off flying , it's the landing that typical is a train wreck.

Do alot of self care and lots exercise can help slow you down a bit.

Stay safe

I gave my bankcard to a friend for the weekend. I knew there was no way I would make it through without going out and wiping out my savings. I bought fabric to make blankets for my grandchildren this weekend, hopefully that will keep me occupied.

Try to get plenty of sleep. Has ur pdoc given u a sleep aid? If not I've read some ppl w/ BP take a Benadryl. U could check w/ ur pdoc or pharmacy.

I really wish there was a solution. Unfortunately there is no way to stop a episode. Sleeping is said to be the only remedy. And of course calling ur pdoc.

You sound manic just the way your writing your post. Meds! Meds! You'll be amazed when they start working . You just have to keep trying different quantities and combinations. No one ever promised you a rose garden. I guess that really dates me. I mean it in jest. I feel for you and I can only imagine what you truly feel. I'm manic and sleepless right now. As long as this doesn't get anyworse, I can deal with it. If you like I'll say a prayer for you. And I'm not real religious. lol

Ohhh....I SO understand. When I feel bursting with energy I try to channel it into something useful like cleaning my house! That sounds boring but it isn't because when manic I really get into the details like scrubbing the floorboards and wiping down the walls...then, when the mania subsides I am left with a clean house instead of a huge CC bill : ). BTW...I started taking Lithium and have not had an episode in about 6 weeks so my house isn't sparkly, lol, but, I feel SO much better. cheers...

yesterday was a calm day but I can feel nothing but chaos inside so far today. I shouldn't have got out of bed. my car is a week past an oil change, so then I figure I could get a pedicure while I am waiting but I don't have my bankcard so I would have to put it on a credit card and then I have a coupon for another store so I may as well go shop there.........

Be careful shopping while manic. It's best to stay home.

Be safe
