I'm really upset about it. I don't recognize the number. He knows my name a d number. Sent me a picture of some iron maiden album cover. I don't know that music. I shouldn't have engaged, but asked who is this? He won't tell me and now I've jus told him to bring it and I have a shotgun ready...

You CAN block the number (talk to your phone provider if you don't know how), that would be a good first step.

You can block numbers for sure. I blocked a solisitor who was calling me 27 times a day, despite me telling them to stop. For my service provider it's easy, you log into the web site and add the number to a blocked list. I've never heard from them again.

I think the #1 thing trolls get off on is attention. So if you block his number and stop responding hopefully it fizzles out. But, if the texts are violent, maybe you should tell the police. Usually they don't do much about stalking, but if he's threatening you at all via text, you have proof.

Yup - I had to block a few numbers. My carrier is AT&T and I had to set it up through parental controls (even for myself) at a fee. But it works.

Also be careful, if you have your phone listed on FB or other sites. I try to limit my info because I attract the strangest people. Always have. High privacy settings.

That's ******. Going a bit low there with racial slurs, proves that they are ignorant. I agree to block the number. But most idiots will hang themselves if given enough rope. Don't let it upset. I know that's difficult but make sure you aren't giving any power to this person. For all you know it could be a jealous coworker.

I will block and be ready. I don't publicly post my cell # anywhere. Pretty sure it's a mistake guy from my past cuz he started with how he has always had a crush on me... then got nasty perv and me very pissed off with the head games of not saying who he is. He was Mexican (I have loved a half Mexican / half Native american man before - love of my life long gone) but this one guy was too rough with me, I had bruises after. Anyway, don't get why he called me that. It's all a horrible memory.

If my rash didn't donate half MY Jordan's chromosomes I'm sure he'd have dissapeared long ago, as it is now, he pops up twice or thrice a year. Wish there was a cure for my rash, hehe, atleast you can block yours and treat it with a shotgun! You're my hero!!!
