I want you to know, I have been on herbal cures for a year. I still take my meds but use the dietary cures as well. Has anyone with B-P. experienced greater success? I recognize there are ways of losing weight. (the meds make us get overweight) There are the Omega3-6 oils. The suppliment cromium Picolanate increases glucose metabolism as well. Use of alfalfa tablet daily will reduce water retention.(Meds usually cause it) Using fruits and vegetables more in your diet not only helps you stay lower weight, but they help your brain. Everyday walks not only help manage weight but relieves stress and give you a time for self therapy. (even walking in the winter is suggested-just dress accordingly) Exercise and fresh air also get rid of the disphoric mood that b-P's easily get into. Well just to let you know, it is not easy living with Bi-polor and there is IFeel a thin line between getting well and remission.(What do you think? Agreed or disagreed) Just tell me what you do to cool off, and break out of the saddness or maina naturally? I would like to share and be shared with on this topic. Thank you all and good luck and God Bless your life today and always. Razeljenny

I agree about the walking, I couldnt live without my treadmill. I walk twice a day everyday. My general physician recommended Omega 3 and I keep meaning to buy it but until I read your post I had forgotten about it. So I need to try it. Right now Im about to try natural treatment. My doc wants me to start another pill and I dont think Im doing bad enough to need it, I had one bad episode and she wants me to add a strong med. Im nervous about it. So, we'll see how the natural stuff goes.

Good! Those omega 3 oils have healing qualities that I read about on the internet. I was so amazed to see the difference in my brain functioning when I took 2 or 3 doses of omega 3 oils every day. I really got steady and way nocitable more balanced by taking each day the omega oils religiously and I think that you can buy it in bulk somewhere and really get a better deal financally if you look real good on the internet. Stay well! Love Razel

Yeah, I bought a bottle of the omega at a health food store and paid $11.00 for 90 pills. I went to Costco later that day and turns out they sell that stuff. They had a bottle of like 200 for $9.00. D'oh I have sugesstions for healing yourself with herbals as well

Thank you for telling me about omega 3 at Cosco; that sounds good. The best price looks like it's there. I'm going to get some this week for this fall, so I will feel and do better. It is encouraging to talk about this stuff. thank you dear

It is true, overdosing on it is bad. It is a trace element and like selemium can poison us if we get more than we need. Only taking recommended amount, myself, and feel improved a little bit.
