So I have applied for this position to become an apprentice in the electrical field. I have made it thru all the paperwork and tests and just had a final interview on Tuesday.
I had a medical procedure done on Monday so I was on pain meds when I went to the interview the next day. I went in front of the committee wich consisisted of 3 people and they all asked me questions and I felt as though I answered them quite well. But with each day that has passed since then I have started worrying more and more about this job. I'm starting to freak out because this job could turn out to be my career if I do well. No more working a dead end job. No more money problems, this job can be my way out of financial hell. I don't know what to do, I guess all I can do is play the waiting game. Well thanks for letting me rant I'm just so stressed about this and had to get it off my chest. Thanks for reading

The wait after the interview is always the most soul destroying part of the job search process.
![]() Do you have an email address of one of the people who interviewed you? A lot of people send the "Thank you for meeting with me, if you have any further questions..." type of email a few days after the interview. If anything it shows the interviewer that you're still very interested in the position and it may put you slightly above someone else who hasn't sent a thank you email. Let us know how it turns out!! ![]()

Maybe say something like "Hi X, I just wanted to send you a quick note thanking you for meeting with me last week. I'm very excited about this opportunity and please let me know if you need any additional information from me regarding this position. I hope you had a great weekend and I look forward to hearing from you." I've sent quite a few of these. And typically, as in 90% of the time, I will get SOME kind of response. Feel free to be more direct in the email... I'm just extremely passive aggressive.
