Hi All,

I haven't been here for a while thinking maybe I cannot contribute anything. But now I'm back and looking forward to it. I lurked for ages and thought about you guys a lot.

I have posted the below in the 'sleep' forum but I thought I'd post it here as well.

Last night I was sleep-walking and managed to put my netbook in the microwave and nuke it. There have been many other occasions like that, but that one was the worst of all. One other night I turned on the washing machine and flooded the floor as I didn't put the exit pipe out. Another time I woke up and found a plate beside my bed with a dollop of mayonnaise on it, plus knife and fork.

My meds are the below in my siggy. Although nothing has changed since before I started sleep-walking.

Sometime I drink a couple of vodkas in the evening but my bf assures me it cannot be that - and again nothing has changed.

I hide my house keys and cigarettes.

Has this type of weird stuff happened to any of you?

Never happened to me, although I don't take any meds besides Atarax (Hydroxyzine)...
But you must tell your psychiatrist, perhaps some of the drugs you take have this kind of side effects...
*off topic* This remember me of a movie called Side Effects, where a woman apparently kills his boyfriend while sleep-walking.
But any way, see your psych!
Cheers,
Allie

No I've never experienced anything like that. I agree with Lifelies, contact your doctor.

I'm not a sleepwalker at all... but ouch!

I'd let your doctor know.

Hi beebizzy.
Welcome back to psych central. that certainly is concerning about your sleepwalking. like everybody else said, it is something you should talk to your doctor about before something more dangerous happens.
