So I can't stop thinking about sex... at all and i'm about to go pick up some random stranger at this point. My mind is racing and all I can do is sit here thinking....

I've got all this money comin in next month and this guy up north a bit wants me to come visit, maybe live with him....he's wanted me to come see him forever because we've known each other for like 9 years

yes. call your dr asap and tell him/her what's going on. I've almost done what you are talking about and it would have been a disaster of epic proportions. Don't follow the impulse. call the dr instead.

That's totally manic, and I have done that many times with bad consequences. Not live with a guy, but running off to have sex with a guy sounds all too familiar to me. Call your pdoc or your T and have an emergency session because you definitely need to talk this over with a professional.

You can always back out, just because tickets were bought doesn't mean it is set in stone. I suggest you get a hold of yourself. I'm with Bipolar Nurse, I hope it doesn't blow up in your face. Just be careful

He can return the tickets. And if they are non-refundable, pay him back. You've got money coming to you. Get help now before you blow all your money. Remember the cycles. If you go you'll be excited at first, but what happens when you level out? You'll be depressed, far from home and most likely broke.

Seriously, listen to Patsy. Call your dr's office tonight and see if there is a dr on call. You need help now. You don't need to see this man right now. You need to treat your mania. Now.

Go to the hospital. They can give you something to stop the mania and keep you from doing anything to hurt yourself.

If your even THINKING about harming yourself, call the dr now, like emomom says. If you have to wait until morning, then do it in the morning. First thing in the morning. If you can't sleep, keep busy. Put on a movie, keep posting on this site and reading other threads, write in a journal, draw a self portrait, eat cereal. This feelings you have are going to pass. Make yourself aware of that.

ok. look up a psych hospital # in your area and talk to someone there and see what they can tell you.

but seriously, if you are thinking in any way shape or form of hurting yourself, just GO to the hospital. Don't wait. Call a friend or your family member to drive you there if you can

ok. I've never had that happen but in the meantime try to get some sleep or do something to keep yourself occupied in a healthy way if you can't sleep, clean dishes or do laundry or something like that and be sure to call your dr as soon as his office opens in the morning. I know I've not written before but I really do care and want you to be ok.
