I OD yesterday on my meds because of a bad decision. I stopped taking my antipsychotics a few days ago in hopes of giving me energy during my depressed phrase. I was all sorts of mixed moods when that happened. I'm currently in the ICU and I'm hoping I can go home today by explaining my situation. I'm hoping I can work out a deal today such as starting antidepressants and dbt. I just want to go home :/

I'm so sorry that you OD'd. I'm glad you're okay. Stay there as long as you need to, to get the things you need done.

Glad you are okay. Allow them to help you find the right solution so you don't wind up in the same situation.

I am new, wanted to reply to you. You have shared things that have helped me, and I am in a deep, dark place right now.

I am so glad you are ok, and I hope you can go home soon, but I hope you can get something positive out of this horrible situation. We always want to go home, but I wish we could go home with a better understanding.
Thanks for this!

In spite of 3-5 hospitalizations, I have never learned to stop fooling around with my meds. I am unstable because of it. Yet I am terrified of being in the hospital again.

What a way to live! I don't recommend it.

The doctors have not told me what they are planning. They are waiting for my heart to stabilize and it's becoming better thankfully.

Just talked to the head psychiatrist and he suggested I stay on the psych floor for 2-3 days to monitor my heart. I've been wearing a portable heart monitor so now I will just have ekgs done to make sure everything is okay while on meds.
