Ok, this is going to sound crazy but I'm going to tell you anyway. I think I've been having hallucinations since last night/early this morning. I keep hearing a beeping noise that no one in my house can hear. It followed my to school today too. I called my doc and he doesn't seem concerned at all. But I am. I've never had anything like this before. Nothing has changed on my meds. I looked up side effects of all of them and the only one that mentions hallucinations is Lamictal. I've been on the same dose of that for over a year and a half. It seems weird that it would suddenly cause that reaction. Any ideas on what it is or what I should do?
Nicole

Nicole is it like a buzzing noise in your ears? I get that sometimes but it goes the next day. Someitmes I feel it when everything is really quiet.

I've been on Lamictal for a few years, haven't had this, in fact I have never seen any info that hallucinations as a side effect of Lamictal.
You may want to pay a visit to an ENT, have the ear doc check it out, it can be something happening in the ear canal and/or eardrum.
Sometimes I can hear certain sounds that the rest of the family can't, but my dogs do. 9 out of 10 times I'm able to track down where it's coming from, usually it's some kind of "house" sound, furnace, sump pump, appliances, machinary outdoors being used. Try not to get worked up, thinking it is hallucinations, most likely isn't. Take it up with your doc, to rule out anything.
Lots of luck with this.
Take care,
DE

No hallucinations on Lamictal. I get delusions but don't think it's got anything to do with meds. Everytime I increase dosage I shiver and get really cold. I also get brain fog and sleepy but those are just as much as side effects that I get.

I have never heard a beeping, but I hear what sounds like a tv or radio on real low in another room. I never can find the source when it happens. This though is usually a sign that something worse is to come hallucination wise. (Sorry don't mean to scare you)
