Do you do it?
Like... I often image shielding myself in bright light, if I feel anxious about going out, scared of something, or feel overwhelmed by the darkness. Or I imagine that I am all glittery and sparkly, inside out (not like Kesha lol). My falling asleep visualization is feeling like a cat. This one feels very real for me often. *purrrr* There's others, involving growing wings, being reborn, burning negative feelings in giant fire, merging with a star or simple astral projection (leaving body to fly up up up and watching Earth from above). Do you ever do something like this?

I sometimes visualise that all my plans are accomplished. That gives me a good state of mind, but I've never thought of doing it during an episode though

I use visualizations for when I need to sleep but can't. I imagine a stage on which all my current thoughts are zooming about, and a huge broom. The broom sweeps the thoughts away one by one, when I've swept away these racing thoughts, I picture a tranquil setting. A picnic on a cliff, my daugher and myself watching the waves. I hold onto this picture until I manage to fall asleep.
I tried your shield once, and it seemed helpful, but I was in no shape to actually learn a new coping skill since I was already in the thick of it. Thanks for the reminder V ![]()

Yep I sure do. Energy work, chakra alignment, aura healing. Crystals & stones as helpers. Sage smudge to clear negative energy. Advanced stuff like running kundalini energy.

I love when leaves first start to fall off the trees and the air is crisp. My turbo charged car also likes this. It sounds counter intuitive, but driving fast on a road where the leaves are blowing around and falling down around me is really relaxing. The sound of the wind, the smell of my car, the way it sticks to the road and the sound of the turbo spooling up and releasing as I shift really makes me feel calm. No people. Just me, my car and the road.....

When my T and I started doing hypnotherapy one of the first things we did was have me imagine a color in my mind deep in my mind .. So for some reason I picked a emerald colored light ..It is a soothing . Everytime I need that light due to pain or Bipolar or anxiety relief .. It works about 95% of the time regardless to whatever I need it for.
I have many crystals and stone and you can't beat smudging for clearing negative energies out of our lives.. Life is a buffet ... Pick and choose what will help you ![]()
