I am not in danger of suicide, let me get that straight. But 3 weeks ago I went thru a week long depression that nothing would help. Now, I am on day 3 of a new depression and I am worrried I am going to go thru the same thing again. My next dr appt is not until 12/27. I called my nurses number yesterday (saturday) and left an urgent message. I am hoping that they will call me back monday morning and get me in sooner. I am bringing my son down, he thinks he might be bipolar now too because I am, and he is depressed because he can't make me better. He is 17yrs My husband just hugs me and tells me it will "all be ok". He doesn't get it. I am tired of feeling this way, I need some help! Angel

Im not sure anything about your past or your diagnosis but I would recommend maybe doing some research on Bip 2 disorder? It is bipolar without the mania... and it is treatable. Otherwise, keep trying with the doctor... 2 months is way too long to wair.

Try to get in to see your doc ASAP. Deep depression is dangerous because you're not thinking clearly. You only see the negative side of everything (been there). You may need to have your meds adjusted & 2 mos. is too long to wait for that. Take care.--Suzy

Burn up the after hours number until you get somewhere. I don't think that a lot of folks who've not dealt with deep depression really understand just how bad it can be. They might love us, but not really understand, you know? Hang in there and keep us posted. Be good to you. Thinking good thoughts for you.
