I went to week 3 of 6 week class Living Well with Chronic Conditions (Chronic Disease Self-Management Program) based on the book "Living a Healthy Life With Chronic Conditions." It is not specifically about bipolar or other chronic mental health issues, but it can be used for that. I am finding useful suggestions for me in it.

Had a really good chat with my brother, like a big chat. Talked about lot's of things for around three hours. Was really beneficial. It helps to feel understood, especially by family members. Big ups to him for taking time out to chat with me.

I am at a conference, and I don't want to be here
But - I participated in it, and put on my best "I am happy to be here" face

I vacuumed the whole house. Cleaned the living room. My bedroom and bathroom. Washed my bedding, put it back on. It will be so nice to get into a clean bed, . Did a couple loads of laundry.

I have a hurt back, so dang it hurt, but I did it.

Now baking some chicken. And my son and I are gonna have, baked chicken, steamed veggies and brown rice. Yay to me! And my boy. He cleaned his room and bathroom. And he took out garbage.

Got dressed, exchanged DVDs at the office and printed a coupon to get the AC in my car fixed.

Now I just got to get my car into the shop!

Sorry about the conference whine, wrong thread.

The positive thing I did today was that I was able to keep my "I'm so happy to be here" face on all day!!

I stood up for my opinion instead of getting agitated and shutting down.

Working from home, got all stressed out, rather than let it tear at me, I took a short break and took my dog for a walk

I took the time to sit and watch the bees working in my flowers.

For a few minutes, the world consisted of just me and the bees

It was wonderful

Congrats on the earrings.

I don't know why, but putting on earrings seems to be
such a huge task to me

So, way to go!!!

Had a bone density scan this morning. I've been putting it off for a long time. My mom and brother both had / have osteoporosis so I should get one at least every 5 years. It's been 11 years since I had one. I'm glad it's done. I walked to the hospital and home. It's about a mile each way.

I live in Canada too.

Did you just go to your family doctor and ask for it to be done?

Anyone mind if I say what I want to do?
I want to clean my car, finish up a couple projects I have going, wash my dog, get some work done for work, go swimming, and make 5 people I don't know smile. I will let you know how it goes. Maybe we need a thread for today's goals?
Thanks for this!
