I had an interview for a tutoring job and I think I did well. They will get back with me next week about next steps.

I have also chosen a new avatar which I like a LOT.

I applied for reduced rate for my electricity bill.

I have petted my cats.

I left a funny Skype message.

I had a good talk with my childhood friend.

I got up early!
Thanks for this!

I cut my nails and put a pretty purple polish on them

I got out of the house even though I was feeling VERY unsocial.

Got some fresh grapes to freeze (Summer essential for me!)

I'm slowly doing some more study.

And I showered, didn't wash my hair though - tomorrows task. Showering can be such a chore, right?!

Hammy petting your cats must have been calming.

Nicole84 showering is a pain. For some reason.

Positive things I've done today: gone to work, got kids to school, dressed snazzy and put on red lipstick.

Didn't procrastinate (as I usually do) on paperwork and getting a new Dr set up for January. The motivation was I need the meds.

My day's just starting. I've been trying hard to have my rational thinking control me.

I'm off to work soon. I ate, showered and brushed my teeth. I've done ALL that.

I made two important phone calls regarding about my psychiatric care.

I slept 9 hrs. That's positive 'cos my mind needed that rest.

Every waking hour, I have to think about my BP. No rest but it's positive. I got to do it while I'm able to. I've done so the last 3hrs and I'll keep digging for the truth for the rest of today. and tomorrow..
Thanks for this!

I take showers much more often than I wash my hair. I also used to think of showering as a chore, but a little frivolous spending (nice shower gels, hair products, and all of it organized in pretty colorful metal tins) made me actually want to take a shower more often than before ("would I use the cherry blossom shower gel today or the patchouli rose shower gel? which one suits my current mood?" does the trick).

But washing my hair will always be a chore.

So in my unwritten book of brownie points I earn by self-care, Showering gives me 1 and washing my hair, 5! I also have thick hair that is tough to handle.
Thanks for this!

The free care ends at the end of the month so I signed up for insurance through the affordable care act and got decent coverage at a great price that starts on January 1st. This is a huge stress relief. Need my Psych Nurse and my Meds!!!

I started to make a plan for some kind of budget. Also big stress reliever.

Went to a professional interview. Made one embarrassing mistake on a problem, but otherwise did well.

Went to IKEA to buy pots for my plants. Started reorganizing my little garden as we have rain rain rain all day long and my cacti and succulents needed to be moved away from where they were being rained on.
