Positive things I’ve done today

I would really like to start an accomplishment thread. Sometimes we overlook the positive things we have done today
I’ll start.

Today I went into work early so that I can catch up on my work…which in turn lowers my stress level , and makes me feel like I can conquer anything that comes my way

Today just getting out of bed was an accomplishment for me. So far, I did dishes, a load of laundry and walked the dogs. Better than hiding in bed.

Today I did my back exercises cause I had surgery on Feb 25th and in trying to strengthen it. I took a shower. I put on makeup fir the first time in 2 months. I called the bank and got an issue resolved. And I went to the store.

Tried to say positive things to my mom because she is old and didn't want to tax the heart.

I forced myself out of bed and completed my morning walk in the park.

I actually spoke to two people who were walking their dogs.

Dogs seem to give me a way of relating, first pet thje dog and then tell the owner that s/he has a pretty dog and at least we exchange smiles have a nice day - etc. and the dog gets some petting.

Ernie I am getting a dog!!
And I will walk her just like you do
I am so excited.
My positive is that I stood up to the bf and said
we get a dog, or you leave
my house my rules!!!

I went to yoga and now i'm going to hang out with a friend

I'm 98% agoraphobic due to my crippling anxiety. I got out of the house alone this morning to the Starschmucks a block and 1/2 away and stayed for an hour. It's a big deal here.

Put on an Easter egg hunt and made baskets for my grandsons.

Washed 3 cars , laundry, scrubbed floors , clean bathrooms etc .. Yep Cleaned everything

I got up and went swimming for a mile. Then I went to the bank and paid my mortgage. Then I drove an hour to work where I got through the day without too many difficulties. I came home and made Easter baskets for my 3 grandsons.

I gave my daughter a hug and told her I loved her.

Finally got out of bed, took a bath and am now ready for church, after putting away some dishes.

I got 7 hours sleep and when I got up I had a shower. Then I ate a good breakfast.

Got out of bed, ate, hung out with my boyfriend even though I'm in severe pain.

I did 10 (yep, that's right 10) loads of laundry
I washed comforters, couch covers, winter coats...etc

Today I am Superwoman!!

Got out of bed, bathed, walked the dogs and washed dishes. Will get out an go to an AA meeting later. I hope the rain stops.

I had only one angry outburst at my mother yesterday. I was compassionate the rest of the time. I walked today and began to clean my room. I am looking forward to the rest of the day (OMG is this actually happening?).

Hello There newgal2. I was just looking at the B.P. stories, and saw this. You are ahead of me then. I am still drinking coffee, pondering my day. I hope you get every thing you want to acomplish Done today. There is nothing beter than that feeling. Yes, I have a load of laundry waiting, a load of dishes, but I am up, coffee in hand, and today, I will do all. This comes from a person still sitting on his bed. LOL. I did NOT lose my **** with the woman at the eyeglasses store when she implied that I broke my frames myself. I closed the frames to go to sleep last night and the arm broke off. She said it looked like it was pulled off while glaring at me. I simply explained what had happened and told her that sine this is the second time it's happened with the same glasses I don't suppose it's my fault, even though vile nasty things were running through my head. She replaced them.

We will see how the rest of the day goes.

I took my car to the shop to be fixed. Then went by the clinic to get a blood test and still made it to work by 9am. It was a stressful morning.

I baked cornbread today, which required me to get up and moving around. Also, I logged onto this site, and reading the posts here is helping me to feel less alone.

Yummmm...cornbread. It is so good.

Today, I have had a good food day (meaning that I did not scarf down
chips, candy...etc)

I got my list of chores done and started to clean my room. I also when to the doctors and has him up my Zyprexa and to start Trazadone to aid in sleep. Altogether a successful day.
