My Psychiatrist asked me today if I had moods that changed rapidly like a roller coaster. As I described how that description fit my occasional day to day life, it struck me that the end of ever roller coaster ride I go on is the same. The track reaches it's lowest point and the car comes to a stop waiting to go on the next ride.
I'm a full time graduate student working on 2 masters degrees, I have a full-time job with unpredictable hours, and I am happily married (one of the few things that keeps me sane). Right now, I'm at the bottom of my track, which is including hopelessness, depression, and fatigue like I've never felt before.
Does anyone have anyways they deal with these times? Perhaps something unconventional? I'm at that point of being willing to try just about anything.
Thanks
-Paul

Hello and to PC

I hope you like it here and find what you seek

There's an old thread where we shared some ideas for self-care, as we often forget to be kind to ourselves and its oh so important to do, especially when the ride is about to get rough...

Here's a link to the thread, its quite lengthy, but I'm hoping that if you incorporate the idea into your life, that it will make the ride a bit more bearable for you.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
