Take a break. Walk away from your desk, cubicle or work station and go outside for a short walk. Breathe deeply and slowly, counting to 10 on both inhalation and exhalation. This forces you to calm down and focus on your breathing, which of course distracts you from work for a few moments. When you're ready, or when your break time is up, go back in. Repeat as necessary. I think this may help you.

That's good. Sounds like you may need to take a couple of days off to regroup.....I had to do that more than once when I was a practicing nurse. Honestly, I thought being a nurse with bipolar was tough (and it was), but I can't even imagine being a teacher and dealing with young children or teenagers in the classroom settings. Bless you, hon.

When I'm like that, walking and breathing helps me too... I also talk when I can to my husband or mom. It helps to get what is going on inside your head out of your mind also... Journaling can help too, just to write it out. Just some thoughts. Taking some time off sounds good!
