Hello and welcome IDK! The right diagnosis... all you can do in that regard is research your local psychiatrists and mental health care professionals to find the one who might be the best fit for you, and make an appointment. Many people find it helpful to write down their symptoms and whatever else they want to tell their pdoc before the first appointment. Good luck!

Thank you for replying to me. I just don't know what do to anymore... How can I go one day feeling ok, then the next driving to work with out going on, and going for a nine hour drive instead? And spiralling into that low mood, where I can't get out of bed, this happened Monday morning and it's now Thursday and I'm still in bed

Can you go to another psychiatrist? Are you in therapy?
Welcome

Hi Miguel'smom, currently I'm not under a psychiatrist, just my gp who has referred me to the mental health team, I will have a visit from a mental health support worker in two weeks, after I tried the larger dosage of my meds.
I was seeing a hypnotherapist for some weeks, which really helped, but felt that I was in a much better place so stopped going... Also it's not cheap ![]() Thank you for welcoming me Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I'm sorry your gp didn't refer you out sooner. I don't know the system works there but can you find a sliding scale place for therapy?

1 if it is effecting your daily routine .......and it is getting worst ...go to the hospital and see a doctor there.......they will give u something to help get u lvl so u can do what u have too
2 set up a doctors apointment so they can start the medical pills trail and error ...everyone reacts different to meds so they will start u off and have u come back tell them how u feel and change alter things until u feel normal 3 this is never going to leave completely u will always have to deal with this so once u get on something that works keep a eye on yourself keep track of side effects and any changes they cause u .........u might have to change things around 4...the days u do not want to get out of bed u need to find something that well triggers u to get angry and fight back allowing u to force self out of bed and do what u need too when u need to do it |

sliding scale means they charge u depending on the income u have
some like me with no job would pay 0 to 40 bucks ..........ppl that work a fast food job u know just barely getting by might pay 10 to 40 ......if u have money and a decent job then u would pay normally 60-110 |
