Thank you to everyone here for helping me out these past few weeks. When I made the appointment last week I was severely depressed. Today, and the last few days, have been really up and happy. Right now I don't want to change any meds bc I feel so good.

Anyway- pdoc said I have been cycling rapidly and she increased my lamictal. She mentioned lithium but that puts weight on me. She also gave me an rx for trileptal if lamictal increase doesn't help.

I just feel so good today I can't imagine not feeling this good.

Congrats on seeing your pdoc today.

Glad there have been some med changes which should start helping you.

Each step forward is one step closer to your wellbeing.
Thanks for this!

I found that a lamictal increase pulled me right out of a major depression onset, before it got to bad. Gosh, I wish I had that energy now! Oh, and rapid cycling sucks almost as bad as being depressed and manic at the same time.

I'm so glad to hear you're feeling better and you got in to see the pdoc!
Thanks for this!

What about side effects? My pdoc said she isn't concerned about getting to the perfect blood level, that she would just use a small amount.

In high school I gained weight on it and was shaky and thirsty. I cannot gain any more weight!
