I'm sorry you are feeling so bad. I usually feel fine first thing in the morning only to become a wreck in the late afternoon. I hope you get to feeling better.
Feel like crying/screaming

Haha, it's funny you said that. I just went for a little run outside in the freezing cold rain and usually it makes me feel better but today I was just screaming at everyone in my car. I feel like I've been in a depression for two years now. I popped out of it for about a month just long enough to go into the hospital for a short manic spell but it's just like no one understands how hard this is. I keep trying to do the right things and I keep feeling like I'm stuck. I feel ya.

I'm so sorry you're having a hard time, Momof2.

I can totally relate to this. I hope things start getting
better for you.

Feel like this sometimes too-some days or good & some not so good (& some awful) you might want to talk with your pdoc/tdoc about med adjustments or change up your morning routine to get yourself a little more centered & grounded. Sorry you are having such a hard time.

If this is a daily thing , you need to let your Pdoc be aware.. Maybe you need a med adjustment of some kind.

At nite are you able to unwind before bed? Are you stressing every night about all the things you have to do tomorrow? If so maybe just write things down to get them outta your head , Make a simple list of what you do need to get done the next day. Just focus on the ones that MUST be done , not any extras.

When you wake up in morning feeling this way .. have you found any coping skills that can calm that feeling down? Breathing exercises? Maybe meditation? Hot shower? or yoga stretching, treat yourself to a special coffee or tea, some other treat that can help self soothing.

I hope you can find a way to stop that horrible way of waking up daily.. It's terrible I have been there in the past.

Take care of you

Bipolar is like a box of chocolates. You never what you're gonna get.

I hate that screaming/crying jag any time it comes. Is it every morning for you? I'd think that if it's consistently a certain time of day it would be a medication thing. (like stuff is wearing off)

First thing in the morning when I open my eyes I start crying. I lay in bed sobbing for a while and then proceed to make coffee through the blur of tears. I can't handle consciousness. The crying/screaming part is for night when I know no one will hear me. You don't usually hear of someone screaming themselves to sleep.

I'm sorry.

When my meds aren't working right I get back there. When I do finally realize that I'm in a depressed state, I'll take a 10 mg of anti-d at night and my regular dose in the morning. Usually by the afternoon I get to feeling better. (((HUGS)))
