My doctor is an idiot. She is an idiot because I don't have the capacity to take care of my mental health, physical health, state forms, and social security forms all at the same time. Strange enough, she thinks I can do all that without any money.

I found out that an open MRI is just as bad as a closed and triggers a major panic attack. Oh, and the MRI is needed for neck and back problems that have taken me out of work. Most recent MRI had my head immobilized and caused severe pain.

I have pneumonia, and after a visit to the ER, and antibiotics I still am not better.

Right now, I just hate my life. I want to go somewhere where I can just be left alone...

I also have a hard time with communication with when it counts. Have to have someone translate my thoughts.

i do too sometimes.

i can write out what i want to say fine, but when it actually comes to telling someone, it's difficult- and i usually go back to writing anyway because it's something that works for me.

i'm sorry you hate your life right now and hope things get better
Thanks for this!

I hate to hear that your life sucks right now. My life was like that last August, but now it is looking up.

I know MRIs can be very disturbing to some. My stepdaughter has panic attacks when she has to have one. I hope you don't have to have anymore for a while.

I hope things get better for you soon.

I take xanax before I have to have an MRI. Then the entire time I close my eyes and visualize the beach.

Ask your doctor about a benzo.

The form I filled out asked if I had taken something to relax me or if I had a drink, and if so, did I have a driver.

Sometimes doctors can be lacking in common sense. I hope things get better for you soon.

Don't worry to much, communicate with them about your anxiety, ask them for an open MRI or standing MRI. I have had 2 closed, and 2 open. This was the first time I flipped out during a scan.

You can't think bad thoughts otherwise your setting your self up for a bad experience. Also, you might want to have your eyes covered.

Lastly, I am overweight so space is tight as it is. Not bad that I had 3/4 without anxiety.

I have to take my Ativan before I even go to the doctor, let alone an MRI. I get so panicky.
