Sitting in a chair and having my big cat ( 6.5 kgs) try to squeeze in beside me.
I think that he thinks he is still a kitten

Swimming. Being in water is so refreshing it really lifts moods. As the ocean is just up the street from me I choose to swim there but lakes and pools can be great too. I love being underwater. You can scream under there to release tension and know one would know.

Got a new hobby or are taking a class tell us about it. I have a hard time reading post about how unhappy you are cause it is a trigger for me and I am sure it is to others. I am not saying I don't post stuff that bothers me but I would like to see some more positive stuff.
I like this idea, since I've had some bad days lately. I too used to dress up all the time, and recently decided to improve my wardrobe. My 'go-to' place these days for better clothing is Ebay. I have a few vendors who sell "new with tags" and "new without tags" for prices I can afford. My newest things have been three pairs of designer pants for $20 each (and the tags range from $85-140!!) and one top for $15. Oh yeah.... since I just turned 53 I got silly and bought a pair of "leopardskin" leggings which I will wear with a black tshirt. LOL
Thanks for this!

LISTEN TO HAPPY music

It might seem crazy what I'm about to say
Sunshine she's here, you can take a break
I'm a hot air balloon that could go to space
With the air, like I don't care baby by the way

{Uh}

[Chorus:]
Because I'm happy
Clap along if you feel like a room without a roof
Because I'm happy
Clap along if you feel like happiness is the truth
Because I'm happy
Clap along if you know what happiness is to you
Because I'm happy
Clap along if you feel like that's what you wanna do

[Verse 2:]
Here come bad news talking this and that, yeah,
Well, give me all you got, and don't hold it back, yeah,
Well, I should probably warn you I'll be just fine, yeah,
No offense to you, don't waste your time
Here's why

[Chorus]

{Hey
Go
Uh}

[Bridge:]
(Happy)
Bring me down
Can't nothing
Bring me down
My level's too high
Bring me down
Can't nothing
Bring me down
I said (let me tell you now)
Bring me down
Can't nothing
Bring me down
My level's too high
Bring me down
Can't nothing
Bring me down
I said

[Chorus x2]

{Hey
Go
Uh}

(Happy) [repeats]
Bring me down... can't nothing...
Bring me down... my level's too high...
Bring me down... can't nothing...
Bring me down, I said (let me tell you now)

[Chorus x2]

{Hey
C'mon}
Thanks for this!

Totally agree with the above post. Music can be a big mood booster. I listen to uplifting music when i am down and it lifts me a little. On the other hand emotional music can help me vent bad emotions and clear them out of my system.

Yesterday I knew that bad weather was coming, so I went and bought the Final Fantasy Theaterhythm Curtain Call game for 3DS and today I played it for an hour and a half after doing school work for 8 hours.

One thing that is very positive for me is to spend time with other people. I live alone, so I think it is even more imporant then. Music is also important, as mentioned above. Calming music when I start to feel too anxious and stressed, and more energic music when I need to get myself going. I try to watch the news, read a newspaper, read non-fiction or watch a documentary, something along those lines every day. It keeps my mind from getting too self-centered, something that I notice that I can have a tendency towards. And of course it is interesting...

Get outside more even if it's just to sit in the sun on the steps.

You just described me to a TEE. I NEVER would be seen outside my house without getting dressed, makeup done, and hair completely done. Even if it was just to run to the grocery store, or just to put gas in the car. Now, just as you said, if I get a shower once a week I'm doing good. I never do my hair anymore, and if I slap a little makeup on so I don't look like a zombie at work I'm lucky. As soon as I get home its sweats and the couch. I look at pictures from a few months ago and am like "where did that girl go". It's a night and day difference. It's really depressing.

I like your idea...hopefully I can also get motivated and follow suit!

p.s. LOVE the shoes!! I'm a NIKE addict!!!

Be nice to someone else. Your partner, a friend, the guy in the street, the old lady in the supermarket. ....showing someone else some love does wonders for your self worth, and makes someone else happy too
