Yesterday I went out with my fiance to the mall and bought some new clothes to fit my new (slightly larger) body. It made me feel better about my recent weight gain and more accepting of myself in general. No one likes to be in ill-fitting clothing! I also received the first magazine in a new subscription so that was exciting.
Thanks for this!

Climb on top of a fence & sit in sun & watch the tide roll in & feel the wind in your face & whipping around your ears

I spent allot of money on a new toy, a professional digital camera. I am not going to look at my credit card for at least a half a year.

Actually sitting down to watch prerecorded shows. I don't take the time to stop moving unless my mood is on the way down. Having a weekly date to watch tv for an hour or two has been nice. I am also reading a fiction novel, and two religion based books. I also have a weekly, standing date with my best friend at the gym. I have three other times on my schedule. I don't always make it to those, but they are there to remind me of what I could be doing other than sliding downhill.

What makes me happy? Looking at my day and seeing that i have done at least one of the things on my list that I enjoy. Thanks for the thread. I wanted to get on the site tonight, but i wanted to get something positive from it.

I hate that when I'm depressed that I feel no joy in things that normally at least make me smile. Went for a walk on the beach, I at least tried. Felt nothing though.

Turn the music up full blast in your car, close the windows and sing as loudly as you can whilst driving. I mean who is going to hear you singing anyway? You don't get away with that kind of nonsense in the shower at home. So do it in your car.
Thanks for this!

Allowing ourselves to relax, get in a comfortable chair with a nice cup of Tension Tamer tea & get lost in a good book.

I play puzzle games on my pc and buy bags....

Yes, bags. I don't go for expensive bags, just bags that are interesting to me (my partner finds this hobby...interesting). Also, just going out to the nearest shopping center and window shopping seems to do it for me.

I guess just getting out of the house does it for me most of the time as well...

I suppose it could be worse :P
