Wow! That is amazing. Do you draw often? You have talent. I tend to use photography to describe my mixed states but I cannot show them here because i want to stay anonymous.

This is the picture I painted at 16 to show my mom what my main visual hallucination looks like.

No, i don't really draw often, but for whatever reason that night I just decided to put it out there. It's sometimes hard to put into words exactly what it all seems like to me so I drew it in hopes to show my wife why it scares the hell out of me lol

I wish I had the ability to draw out some of my hallucinations but as soon as I try, it's like my brain automatically forgets how it looked exactly.

I have never thought to draw my psychosis. I don't get hallucinations, I get delusions, but still. Those pictures are pretty cool.

I mainly only see stuff in my peripheral vision. I tend to see like spiders. Then I start to feel like things are crawling on me. I don't think I could draw that nor do I want to. Probably would give me the heebee jeebees.
Thanks for this!

I was psychotic in jail and drew a psychedelic dreamscape. I wish I had a scanner. I'd show everyone.

These are what I like to do at 2 AM in the morning. This is during the first part of my mania when I am happy. Now the voices have turned mean, the people are constantly watching me, and I am way too paranoid to be happy. Still only getting like 30-1 hour of sleep, though.

The ones up above are when I am pretty manic, as I start to get really creative, but don't have the patience to do something detailed. When I am hypomanic I draw these:

I get that too. It's always spiders, or black and grey cats running around corners in my peripheral vision. Never thought it might be psychosis, but then I don't have them outside mood episodes so it makes sense. Glad I'm not the only one!

BipolaRNurse, I tend to only get that during mixed episodes. I get noise sensitivity also. I've never really called it a hallucination or anything, idk. I've never had full blown mania only hypomania. I will tell you one thing though...once when I was seeing those I had a REAL spider crawl onto my arm. You want to talk have creeped out!
