If I went inpatient to hospital, upon release, how would I be placed (home) as to not have to be where I'm at now. I need human interaction instead of being at a morgue.

When I went inpatient, they released me and I went to my normal home. Last time i went inpatient, I was released to my fiance (now wife). I think that you have a choice, dependent on your current living situation.

So if I don't want to come back to where I live at, what would they do with me? It's my only option or the street.

Well it depends on your age, im 18 and went inpatient twice. i was in the adolescent unit (im still in highschool) and there was a girl there who was having family issues and cps came. another girl was at a foster home that was abusive, she got discharged then hurt herself so she would come back (she didnt want to go back to her foster home) and from there cps took care of it and she was going to go to a group home or something. however, if you are an adult the situation may be totally different....

They would, or should, send you to a safe place that will have you. But...

From what I have read, many inpatient clinics have contacts with other facilities that could take you in on release. I don't really understand what you are trying to get away from though? Maybe I missed that part. From my experience with inpatient, it really did not help other than letting me sleep for a week in which case I really needed (was in full blown mania with extreme sleep deprivation). I would also suggest that you talk to a counselor as well unless you cannot wait. If he/she suggest inpatient then you could take that route. You could even discuss what would happen upon release etc as I think it would vary depending on your location. Could you explain your perception of being in a morgue?
